Malvik is a mature and courageous municipality that sees the value of thinking holistically about the future. The municipality sees the health and welfare services in the context of local social development, and this provides good conditions for bringing about the necessary changes in practice. We hope this can inspire many other municipalities! Halogen and Ramboll Management Consulting have assisted the municipality throughout the strategy process. Together, we have used methods from service design, systemic design, strategic foresight and profit realization. Based on an analysis of the current situation, we explored possible futures and defined a vision for 2040. Based on this, we established a strategy for the health and welfare area 2022 – 2040: "Create together to live together".
