Commissioned by the Norwegian Environment Agency, we wanted to find new ways to make the content of the UN's climate reports more accessible - both to professionals and to the general public.
Through in-depth interviews and co-creation, we gained insight into how the Norwegian Environment Agency's then dissemination of the UN's climate reporting was perceived.
We found that the directorate has great trust among its recipients, but that the information was often not sufficiently directed at the target groups.
Based on the user insight, we created customized communication strategies both for various industries and the Norwegian people.
"It has been educational and interesting to collaborate with Halogen and InfoDesignLab. Through their expertise, they have well-facilitated processes and a focus on learning transfer. In this way, they have made it possible for us to continue working towards being more user-oriented in our dissemination of the UN Climate Panel's reports." Project management, Norwegian Environment Agency
To increase the value of the delivery, Halogen and InfoDesignLab also delivered a toolbox with descriptions of tools, methods and templates to the Norwegian Environment Agency's working group.
The insight and the toolbox will be used to develop new and improved communication measures for the directorate, which meet the users' needs to a greater extent.
