In 2020, Thales Norway AS (TNOR) and Halogen established a strategic collaboration with the aim of contributing to TNOR achieving its ambitions for growth.

Thales Norway AS (TNOR) supplies technology to the Norwegian Armed Forces for secure and efficient communication in military operations. The company has more than 100 years of experience with industrial operations in Norway, and the company has been a trusted partner and supplier to the Norwegian Armed Forces since the 1950s.

Thales Norway develops and sells materials, systems and services that ensure secure communication and protection of security-rated information, both on the domestic and export markets.

Extensive collaboration

Since Halogen and Thales entered into a strategic partnership, we have contributed with:

  • More user-friendly products – both for end users, customers and own employees
  • Better and more comprehensive product and service strategies
  • Better and more uniform communication in the market
  • Better understanding of the situation, basis for communication and basis for decision-making for the management in Thales Norway

As a common thread throughout the collaboration, Halogen has developed a Design DNA for TNOR. This involves describing how TNOR will express itself to customers, users and others. This includes the development of both text and images that create the desired experience for the recipient.

Design services and strategy

In line with the new Design DNA, Halogen has, among other things, contributed to designing:

  • Design system for marketing materials
  • Design system for digital user interfaces
  • Product logos
  • Product photos and illustrations
  • Brochures and presentations
  • Material for conferences and fairs
  • Interactive digital product portfolio
  • Design of seminars
  • Decoration of office premises

Halogen is also involved in strategic processes at TNOR. Among other things, this involves forming a picture of the Armed Forces' need for cryptotechnology, in terms of operational utility, relevant solutions, relevant expertise and preparedness in the future.
