Report on the Transparency Act - Due diligence

Halogen AS is subject to the Transparency Act and shall at least annually perform due diligence assessments in accordance with this, and publish an account of the assessments made. Inquiries regarding this report should be directed to post@halogen.no.

Halogen AS is a consulting company specializing in service design, system-oriented design, digital design and design for safety-critical environments. The company is located in Oslo and primarily provides services to large private and public organizations in Norway. The company works actively to promote diversity, equality, ensure equal opportunities and rights and prevent all forms of discrimination, for example on the basis of gender, orientation, ethnicity, national origin, descent, skin color, language, religion or beliefs. Halogen is conscious in its procurement work to ensure that the company's entire value chain safeguards human and employee rights, the environment and animal welfare.

Halogen shall have a sustainable approach to its own operations, contribute to ethical trade and require our suppliers and partners to comply with applicable laws, good business practice and general ethical standards. This is described in more detail under Social obligations in Halogen's Code of Conduct. Halogen's ethical framework and due diligence are part of the company's quality system and are reviewed regularly.

As a service provider, Halogen considers the risk of suppliers in the company's value chain violating human and employee rights, the environment and animal welfare to be low. The nature of Halogen's business is such that approximately 90% of the company's costs are personnel-related and other costs are mainly related to renting office space and purchasing IT equipment. The company has minimal purchases from suppliers outside Norway.

In addition to the company's own operations and supply chain, an assessment has been made of the company's partners. This mainly concerns consultancy companies that are subcontractors in Halogen's customer projects or where Halogen is a subcontractor. The reason for using partners is to solve projects for customers that require other areas of expertise than Halogen can offer. The partners are mainly Norwegian consultancy companies that are subject to the Transparency Act.

The due diligence assessments performed by the company have not revealed any actual negative consequences or significant risk of negative consequences.

The company will continue to conduct ongoing due diligence assessments and implement measures if negative consequences are identified in the company's operations, supply chain or with partners. The work on the Transparency Act is anchored in the company's management and Board of Directors, and is part of Halogen's quality system and associated system for continuous improvement and non-conformance management.
